For most of my life, I have been struggling with facial acne. I have seen several dermatologists and used numerous products to help treat my skin. A friend of mine told me about Dr. Andy Zhou and how wonderful he was with treating her mother. I was a bit skeptical about how effective Traditional Chinese Medicine would be, but I was so frustrated with still having acne this far into my adult life that I decided to set up an appointment to see him.
 
Dr. Zhou diagnosed the root of my acne problem during our first appointment and he explained what was going on with my skin better and clearer than anyone had ever explained it to me before. Although some of the medicines can be quite bitter, I have definitely seen that they work and after years of being frustrated with my skin, I don't mind a little bitterness. Also, I have to say that I have found Dr. Zhou to not only be incredibly knowledgeable in his field, but he's also a genuinely kind-hearted, generous man who really takes the time to treat you, and he's got a good sense.

I was suffering from a strange form of Psoriasis which specialized skin, tropical medicine and general practitioner medical doctors had no explanation for or even a plan of treatment. I had this rash over 3.5 months before I met Doctor Andy Zhou, with not much hope. The rash had taken for over my whole body, except my hands, feet and face, and nothing the doctors were prescribing or saying was working, or helping at all. I was worried. It was scar, and or have this become a repeated problem. Dr. Zhou explained what it was, what he was seeing, suggested reasons why it may happened, and reassured me that it was not too difficult to heal if I stay positive and stuck to taking his medicine, and some minor diet restrictions.
 
I did so, and within 2 mouths, the rash completely gone. Over a year later I have seen no signs of it repeating.
 
I am very grateful for the emotional support of Dr. Zhou over that time, and for his knowledge of the body and how to deal with illness.

I have struggled with a severe problem ¨Cpsoriasis over most of my body for 5-6 years. I have visited several skin specialists, GP¡¯s and others with no success. My friend found Dr. Zhou a few months ago and the problem was under control a few weeks later and within 2 months significant improvement. I no longer am self-conscious of my hands, hiding them in my pockets etc. In addition, my chronic hypertension also a long term problem has been brought under control. From the initial diagnosis of psoriasis, though to my eventual discharge with you, I felt very confident about the professionalism involved, and knew I was in very safe hands. Furthermore, I must give my thanks and appreciation for the patience and understanding shown by you towards me, considering the difficulties of dealing with a patient who were suffering recurring illness! As modern western medical treatment has not such efficient cures for psoriasis, the Chinese traditional herbal treatments helped me fight with such chronic disease. I have had receiving issues with dermatitis. For the past 2.5 years, which had previously been cleared after 7 months of antibiotic treatment, and harsh topical treatment. After this condition flared up again this winter, I decided against the use of long-term antibiotics and wondered whether Traditional Chinese Medicine could help relieve my irritable skin. After seeing Dr. Zhou for the last two months, my skin condition has significantly improved and has almost completely been healed. Thank you so much Dr. Zhou, I really appreciate your help with my skin! I am relieved to know---that I have other options other than strong prescriptions antibiotics for my skin.
