Skin Disease Centre of Traditional Chinese Medicine (TCM) was established in 1996 by Dr. Andy Zhou, renowned professor and dermatologist of TCM. Dr. Zhou is able to provide expert diagnosis and TCM clinical treatment for over 120 different skin diseases. Using his unique herbal formulas along with acupuncture, Dr. Zhou has successfully treated patients form all over the world. He has been practicing in Vancouver for nearly 15 years where he specializes in： Psoriasis, Eczema, Atopic Dermatitis, Acne, Hives, Vitiligo.

Dr. Andy Zhou graduated from Heilongjiang University of Traditional Chinese Medicine in 1982, and Master Degree in 1988 and PhD in 2003. In 1995, He started his Centre in Vancouver. He practices Chinese Medicine in treating skin diseases and he has successfully treated many patients worldwide in his centre. Dr. Andy Zhou has clinical study and research in different places. From 1989 to 2007, further training of western dermatology and TCM Dermatology in Harbin Medical University, China Medical University, the Seventh Hospital of Shenyang, Heilongjiang Hospital of TCM, Beijing Hospital of TCM, Beijing Guang An Men Hospital, Beijing Dong Fang Hospital, Shang Gang Institute of Dermatology, and London National Medical Research Centre (UK).

Dr. Andy Zhou has done extensive research on skin diseases. His PhD paper focused on treating psoriasis with acupuncture and herbal remedy. His post-doctorial working is mainly on eczema with internal herbal medicine. Now he is working on how to cure dermatitis caused by the side effects of steroids cream.

Dr. Andy Zhou considers that Traditional Chinese Medicine cure all skin problems of psoriasis, eczema, dermatitis, acne, hives and vitiligo from the inside out. Although their manifestations are external, the root causes are complex and involved internal imbalances. Even an external-caused disease is often seen as having an internal relationship. That is, when normal Qi exists, harmful factors cannot affect the body.
